CRUISING RANGE:
Day boat hire routes There are two choices, both without locks:

1) cruise south from the wharf for a max. 2½ hours to Goytre Wharf where there is a shop, restaurant and Heritage Centre; then travel 2½  hours back.
2) cruise north for a max of 3 hours to Llangattock passing through Govilon and Gilwern. There are three pubs at Llangattock and plenty more 15 minutes walk away in Crickhowell. Of course you can stop anywhere along the beautiful canal side and have a picnic.

The boats are generally available from 10:00 hours to 18:00 hours, however times outside these can be arranged.
